iPhone photos converted to JPG — everything stays on your device.

HEIC decoding is heavier than JPG — large batches convert one at a time.

About HEIC to JPG

iPhones have shot photos in HEIC (High Efficiency Image Container) by default since iOS 11 — roughly half the file size of JPG at the same quality. That efficiency comes at a compatibility cost: Windows, most web uploaders, older Android phones, WordPress, LinkedIn, and countless CMS systems won't display .heic files at all. Filenify's HEIC to JPG converter decodes iPhone HEIC and HEIF photos entirely in your browser using a WebAssembly build of the libheif decoder and re-encodes them as universally supported JPG. Drop in a whole camera roll, tweak the quality slider, and download the JPGs. Nothing is uploaded — the decode and re-encode happen locally, so travel photos, screenshots, and family pictures stay on your device.

How HEIC to JPG works

  1. 1Drag HEIC or HEIF files from your iPhone, iCloud download, or camera roll.
  2. 2Pick your JPG quality — 92% is the default balance of size vs fidelity.
  3. 3Each HEIC is decoded via WebAssembly and re-encoded as JPG in your browser.
  4. 4Download the JPGs individually or in a single Download all click.
